Resilience plan
The OCWD Resilience Plan: Adaptive Strategies for Securing Abundant and Reliable Water Supplies is a management plan that builds resilience by anticipating future conditions and creating a readiness to respond to changing conditions by offering various short-term and long-term response strategies. Although the planning horizon encompasses five to 25 years, the Resilience Plan is a living document that will be modified based on evolving needs and conditions.
Due to a long history of investments in the groundwater basin, OCWD has developed a reliable, resilient supply of groundwater. The Resilience Plan outlines 16 priority projects and strategies to continue supporting sustainable groundwater pumping from the basin.
