Video monitoring upgrades project
The OCWD Video Monitoring Upgrades Project consists of replacing and installing new cameras, motion detectors, and video recording software at 13 OCWD facilities in Fountain Valley, Anaheim and Prado.
The project is located at OCWD’s administration building, laboratory, and Groundwater Replenishment System facilities located at 18700 Ward Street, Fountain Valley, CA 92708. In addition, work will be completed at 11 OCWD facilities in Anaheim and OCWD’s Prado Field Office in Corona.
The work includes, but is not limited to the following: remove existing Video Management System (VMS) and cameras; furnish and install new video recording equipment; furnish, install, and configure new VMS software; furnish and install wire, conduits, raceways, junction boxes, equipment enclosures, and cabinets; furnish and install new cameras at several OCWD facilities; furnish and install new motion detectors; provide all appurtenances for proper operation of the VMS; provide technical training and support for VMS; and provide final cleanup upon completion of work, in strict conformance with the contract documents prepared by the engineer.

- Bid Opening: Tuesday September 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
- Engineer’s estimate: $1,000,000
The total price in the bid schedule stated in the contractor’s proposal for all bid items is based on the estimated quantities indicated in the plans and specifications and shall include all items necessary to complete the work in strict conformance with the contract documents and in accordance with all applicable State and Federal OSHA standards.
