Request for Proposals For Design of the North Basin Groundwater Protection Project (NBGPP) Treatment Plant, Equipping Extraction and Injection Wells, Injection Well Piping, and System Controls


Proposals due 2 P.M., Tuesday, April 6, 2010

INTRODUCTION
Orange County Water District (OCWD) is seeking proposals from qualified firms that are interested in providing Engineering Services for design of the treatment plant, equipping extraction and injection wells, piping between the treatment plant and injection wells, and system controls as part of the North Basin Groundwater Protection Project (NBGPP). This Request for Proposals (RFP) describes the project, the required scope of services, project milestones, consultant selection process, and the minimum information that must be included in the proposal. Failure to submit information in accordance with these requirements and procedures may be cause for disqualification.

Pre-Proposal Meeting
A Pre-Proposal meeting will be held at OCWD's Administration Building: 18700 Ward Street, Fountain Valley, CA 92708. This meeting will be held at 9 A.M., Tuesday,  March 16, 2010 and is not mandatory.

SCHEDULE
The proposed project schedule is as follows:
Design RFP Issued:  Friday, March 4, 2010
Preproposal Meeting: 9 A.M., Tuesday, March 16, 2010
Proposals Due: 2 P.M., Tuesday, April 6, 2010
Award Project: April 21, 2010
Notice to Proceed: May 5. 2010
