Do you want to know what is in store for Orange County’s water supplies for the 21st century? An informative, no-cost water education class about the basics of water is offered at OCWD's headquarters in Fountain Valley. With less water in the future and continued California population growth, how is Orange County going to fare? For those who have always wondered how we live in a desert, but can make Orange County look like a lush green park, this seminar is a must. The course also address how the water community is working to meet the demands of a growing Orange County.
DETAILS: O.C. Water 101 students can raise their "water I.Q." by gaining valuable knowledge about water in a fun, informal setting. Students learn about water supplies from global, California and Orange County perspectives, the basics of water quality, the county’s groundwater basin and imported water supply, and the new Groundwater Replenishment System, and explore the future of water in Orange County.
