Local Water, Local Solutions Investing in Orange County’s Water Portfolio = Great Returns for California
Advanced purification of sewer water was developed here in Southern California and is being duplicated worldwide, yet the state and nation are not investing enough in this green, state-of-the art technology. 1.3 billion gallons of wastewater goes down the drain in Southern California every day. Why aren’t we tapping into this reliable water flow?
The South Orange Coastal Desalination Project it not a “silver bullet” for water reliability, but it is a critical part of the mix. The project approach is environmentally sensitive and supported by key environmental organizations. Is Southern California ready for ocean desal?
